Claire

Its design is truly dedicated to relieving my pain. To be honest, and given the specificity of my condition, I sometimes have to switch temporarily, but I always come back to Aporia, which now goes everywhere with me because it is so easy to carry.

My research on various websites led me to buy several expensive cushions without any real long-term effect. The Blue Portance team seems to have the right approach, and the Aporia cushion is the first and only one that seems truly promising to me.

An excellent device, the first on the market that addresses my problems — no more pain!!!!

Very affordable price, not excessive at all when I add up what I spent before for nothing!

More time sitting

The Aporia cushion allowed me to increase the time I can spend sitting. Being able to try the product for 30 days is an innovative approach suited to the needs of people with chronic painChronic painPain is called chronic when it persists or recurs for more than three months. Many thanks to its director for his great courtesy, his very technical advice and his availability.

Anne Marie G. / Customer with complex conditions (pudendal, coccyx, cluneal…)

Entirely satisfied with the Aporia seat. It goes everywhere with me. It has become a second skin.

After a medical condition and painful surgery, I was no longer able to sit. Aporia is the only seat that lets me once again enjoy meals at the table with others and the independence of driving again… in short… a return to life.
I want to thank the Blue Portance team, who are very professional and particularly committed to personalized customer follow-up. Real comfort.
Congratulations and thank you to the whole team for this great innovation!

I had the chance to test the Blue Portance cushion after giving birth, when I had several tears and abrasions.

Thanks to it, I was able to sit comfortably at a time when the slightest contact was painful, because the seat completely relieves pressure on the area.

As a physician myself, I will recommend it to my patients.

L SV / Customer unable to sit properly after a painful childbirth

A very professional young company!

It is rare to see such quality of follow-up, for delivery as well as for checking the product arrived safely and is used correctly. The cushion is also of excellent quality and was designed with feedback from people with these conditions, in connection with the specialized university hospital.

Even if in my case it doesn’t solve everything, it is the only cushion I can sit on, and I have tried other well-known and expensive brands.

Thank you again for the quality of contact, and every success for the future!

Céline / Customer with pudendal neuralgia

In good health and very sporty, I never thought I would appreciate a cushion like this so much.

I work sitting in front of a screen all day and I regularly ended up completely slumped in my chair, often with more than just muscular discomfort in my back. Since I started using the cushion, my posture is naturally much better.

I no longer need to remind myself several times a day to sit up straight, only to end up slouching again a few minutes later. My position stays naturally upright, and that is what makes it comfortable. And since then, no more back or lower back discomfort.

All in all, a great discovery that I now recommend to my office colleagues, and to you if, like me, you sit for several hours a day. The cost is significant, but in my opinion it is an investment worth making: we only have one body, so we might as well take care of it — the latest iPhone can wait.

Arnaud / Customer with back and lower back pain

Finally, a cushion that works!

Diagnosed with pudendal neuralgia less than a year ago and followed by the excellent Dr Debisschop, I had all kinds of pain throughout the day. After 2 corticosteroid injections, which worked very well but only temporarily, I moved on to PRP: the first removed 70% of my pain over 3 months, and the second, a few days ago, should take care of the rest. Until today, I only had minor pain linked to sitting (I sit all the time for work), even though I had adapted my workspace: sit-stand desk, walking pad, Herman Miller chair.

I came across the Blue Portance website, and in particular Gil, a real expert in his field, who guided me in buying a PerineumPerineumThe perineum is the region at the lower part of the pelvis, between the thighs. It includes skin, muscle, fascial, vascular and nerve structures, and it is also an area that may bear load when sitting.Read the full entry : Perineum cushion. After setting it up and the (essential) explanations, I felt immediate relief, and I enjoy sitting again without fearing I will “make things worse”. On the contrary, a virtuous circle is now in place, physically and psychologically — exactly what I was missing to put this condition behind me.
Thank you to Gil and to the medical team supporting me. This message is to tell you that it can heal and that you must not give up.
The fight goes on.

Antoine / A 33-year-old man

The day I first tested the Aporia seat, I had tailbone pain. A dull, strong and overwhelming ache.

I was able to sit, but that pain occupied a whole part of my mind.

I sat down and after, let’s say, 2 minutes, I felt my pain release — a clear sense of relief. Ten minutes later, three-quarters of my pain was gone. I now have a practical solution for my problem.

Seat tested +++ and approved.

Anne Tricot / Customer with coccydynia

After a pelvic fracture, this cushion allowed me to stay seated, when it had been impossible for me to sit on a chair even with a cushion.

It allowed an upright, pain-relieving position.

Nicole / Customer with tailbone pain after a pelvic fracture

I have been using the Aporia cushion every day for a few months now and I am entirely satisfied with it, so much so that I am thinking of ordering a second one. It gives me the sitting comfort I absolutely needed. Of course, I recommend it and I don’t hesitate to tell people about it. Gil’s advice, availability and expertise are very valuable. I warmly thank him.

Bruno D. / Customer with pudendal neuralgia

After a year of use, my (good) first impressions of the Aporia Perineum cushion have been confirmed. Thanks to it, I can lead an almost normal life (sitting, work, leisure, walking, travel…), with fewer associated effects (pain, impact on certain functions). As I still cannot take medication for now, it is essential to me and lets me look at life more calmly. A huge thank you to Blue Portance for listening, for their advice and expertise, and for their sense of service and customer satisfaction.

Mélanie D. / Customer with pudendal neuralgia

I have been using the Imago office chair at work for more than six months to reduce my lower back pain. It really helps me every day: thanks to its seat, I no longer have pain. I recommend it to anyone with back pain, because it offers excellent support.

Sandy C. / Customer with chronic low back painLow back painLow back pain is pain in the lower back, located between the thoracolumbar junction and the gluteal fold. In the vast majority of cases it is described as common (non-specific): it is mechanical in origin and does not stem from a serious disease.Read the full entry : Low back pain and post-operative pain

Nothing but positive!
I have had pudendal neuralgia since January 2025 and bought the cushion designed for this condition at the end of June 2025. Since then, my situation has improved enormously. I use this cushion everywhere and it helped me break the inflammatory cycle that had lasted 6 months. I was then able to follow a specialized physiotherapy program, which paid off. Today I no longer talk about pain, but about residual discomfort, which is a considerable step forward.
I therefore recommend this cushion to anyone with this condition. Not only does it make daily life more comfortable by relieving the sitting position, but above all it actively contributes to the healing process.

Practitioner reviews and testimonials

Our orthopedic cushions and ergonomic back cushions have been tested by healthcare professionals. Here is their feedback:

Why, as a pain specialist, do I suggest the APORIA seat to my patients?

For my patients with perineal pain, coccydynia or low back pain, sitting is painful and a daily problem. The design of the APORIA seat is an innovative technical approach. First, the support shell allows different position settings. Then the foam “pads” adapt to different anatomies by adjusting individually. Painful areas are relieved of pressure. I have tested it myself.

This is not just another cushion or seating ring, but a product that I would describe as an ergo-dynamic seat.

I declare that I have no conflict of interest with Blue Portance.

Dr Anne LASSAUX / Head of the Pain Evaluation and Treatment Department, Rothschild Hospital (AP-HP, Paris) until the end of June 2023
As a physician, I was attending a conference on pelvic and perineal pain when Pascal came to show me his seat, then still a prototype. I was immediately won over by the technical side of the approach, with a real wish to understand the anatomical and dynamic stress mechanisms that can explain or contribute to pelvic and lower back pain.

As I also suffer from disabling chronic pelvic pain, inevitably accompanied by low back pain, and have undergone many procedures to try to improve it, I enthusiastically agreed to act as a test subject and installed an Aporia cushion in my practice.

The distribution of pressure on the sit bones, which I rest on when sitting, very quickly led to the disappearance of the sit-bone and sacral pain that spread throughout the lower pelvis — despite having to sit down and stand up, sometimes abruptly, several times an hour. Within the first few days, the lower back pain disappeared, and my back, which is almost always stiff with chronic low pain, regained its natural flexibility. The pelvic and perineal pain has been relieved lastingly, and I notice a clear difference when I sit at home, where the pain tends to come back.

The seat is wide and comfortable, with a central cut-out that avoids the painful pressure on the perineum that is unavoidable on conventional chairs.
