Essentia Stool

Designed for tight spaces and demanding postures.
Ease tension and stay mobile – for long, comfortable hours of sitting.

Originally designed for professionals working in confined spaces or under heavy postural strain (beauticians, tattoo artists, dentists…), Essentia meets the needs of anyone who spends long hours sitting and concentrating, handling precision tools and making repetitive movements. Leaning forward over a patient or a client, shuffling about in a limited space… every demanding posture becomes a source of musculoskeletal overload.

The Essentia seat provides immediate and lasting support while leaving the pelvis mobile – for long working hours with noticeably more comfort.

Essentia adapts to your specific needs with four ExoBase™ versions:

• Standard version: versatile use – continuous support, e.g. for musculoskeletal complaints, low back pain, disc problems, fibromyalgia or cluneal neuralgia.
• Périnée version: central cut-out – e.g. for perineal or pudendal pain, after childbirth, or with endometriosis.
• Coccyx version: rear cut-out – e.g. for pain in the tailbone, sacrum or the cleft between the buttocks (coccydynia).
• Canyon version: continuous center channel – e.g. when pressure is poorly tolerated along a large part of the midline, from the pubic bone to the tailbone.

Not sure which version to choose? Our selection guide helps you identify which contact areas to keep and which to relieve.

In addition, you can choose with or without a height-adjustable footrest. This accessory further improves the ergonomics of the seat: it keeps the feet firmly supported, adapts the height to each user and maintains good stability, even during prolonged use.
