Compact Premium Footrest
€75,00 incl. VAT
Balance in the seated body depends on coordination between the hips and the ankles.
The Aporia® seat frees the pelvis and restores hip mobility, recreating the natural dynamics of the trunk.
The Aporia® Compact Premium footrest complements this with stable, stimulating support for the feet, thanks to its smooth rocking motion and its ergonomic textured surface.
It supports the reflex involvement of the ankles in postural balance, keeps the legs moving and helps relieve the lower back during long periods of sitting.
- 3 adjustable heights: 10 / 13.5 / 16.5 cm
- Smooth front/back rocking motion
- Non-slip ergonomic textured platform (48.8 × 32.2 cm)
- Sturdy metal frame – weight 2.2 kg – 3-year warranty
Its light design makes it easy to reposition at the workstation. On very smooth floors, a small non-slip mat is recommended so that it stays perfectly stable during the rocking movements.
➡️ In short: the Compact Premium is the stable balance footrest, designed to accompany the mobility of the Aporia® seat by stimulating reflex hip–ankle coordination in a compact format.
Good support for the feet is the first condition for seated balance: it links the mobility of the pelvis to that of the ankles and supports a stable, fluid and harmonious posture.

Why choose the Compact Premium footrest?
The Fellowes Compact Premium is part of the Aporia® Selection, a range of accessories chosen by Blue Portance to accompany the natural mobility of Aporia® seats.
🧩 The compact balance base of the Aporia® seat
Seated balance relies on reflex coordination between the hips and the ankles.
Without stable support for the feet, the dynamics of the pelvis remain incomplete, which limits the postural movement initiated on the Aporia® seat.
The Compact Premium provides this essential anchoring: its rocking platform lets the ankles take an active part in regulating balance and keeps the legs moving.
Its ergonomic textured surface provides good grip and adds light massaging stimulation, which helps the legs relax.
With Aporia® and the Compact Premium, posture stays alive — from the pelvis down to the soles of the feet.

🧠 How it works with Aporia®
Combining Aporia® + Compact Premium supports the overall stability of the body: the pelvis keeps its mobility thanks to the Aporia® seat; the ankles take part in balance through the rocking footrest; the musculoskeletal system works as a reflex loop: pelvis – knees – ankles.
This pairing supports postural tensegrity and helps avoid the stiffness that comes with long periods of sitting still.
💡 What it offers
- Gentle massaging stimulation: the small nubs stimulate the soles of the feet.
- Stable, dynamic support: the ankles take an active part in balance.
- Less strain on the lower back: the whole postural chain stays supported.
- Movement without conscious effort: helps limit prolonged static postures, a recognized risk factor for musculoskeletal disorders.
- Natural posture: a balance between comfort and muscle tone.
