The Fellowes Hana LT footrest is part of the Aporia® Selection, a range of accessories chosen by Blue Portance to accompany the natural mobility of Aporia® seats.

🧩 The dynamic anchoring base of the Aporia® seat

Seated postural balance relies on reflex coordination between the hips, knees and ankles.
Without stable support for the feet, the chain of postural adjustment remains incomplete, which limits the pelvic movement made possible by Aporia®.
The Hana™ LT footrest restores this fundamental link: it turns the position of the feet into an active anchoring interface, so the body can keep the movement going all the way to the soles of the feet.

With Aporia® and Hana™ LT, posture becomes a continuous movement — from the pelvis to the feet.

🧠 How it works with Aporia®

Combining Aporia® + Hana™ LT makes it possible to fine-tune posture according to the individual spinal profile:

Spinal profile

Pelvic tilt

Knee position

Arched back (anterior tilt)

Sacrum tilted forward

Knees slightly lower than the hips

Flat back (posterior tilt)

Pelvis tilted backward

Knees higher than the hips

Intermediate profile

Upright pelvis

Knees and hips aligned at 90°

This precise adjustment helps respect the most suitable joint angle between the pelvis and the thighs, a key condition for lower-back relaxation and for the stability of the cone of balance described by Dubousset.

💡 What it offers

Dynamic support for the feet: the ankles take an active part in postural regulation.

Legs kept moving: the rhythmic rocking engages the calf muscles, which support venous return.

Lower-back comfort: support for the feet that is both stable and mobile.

Fewer static postures: constant movement without effort helps limit prolonged sitting still, a recognized risk factor for musculoskeletal disorders.

Postural tone maintained: reflex co-activation of the muscle chains.
